There are some questions that always appear to beg answers:
“Since Content is king, should I sacrifice my valuable content to article directories?”
“If I first publish my content in my own blog/ site, and then submit to article directories, won’t these become duplicate content, and hence struggle to rank higher in Google Search? So, will web searchers find them through the article directories?”
“Will article directories like it if I always publish duplicate content in them? Should I not develop a healthy relationship with them, so they treat me and my articles with special preference?”
“But how many article directories can I develop a relationship with, also avoiding duplicate content?”
If you have followed my other posts in this blog, you should have 100’s of excellent ‘as good as original’ versions of your article by the process of article re-creation. Lucky, you! You can post them in all the 100’s of article directories, one unique version per directory, and also have unique versions of the article for your blog/ site. In fact, you could even post one version as a blog post and another as an article in your blog, but I personally recommend that you rewrite one for the blog, because you wouldn’t want your blog visitors to read two similar, though not identical, versions, would you?
Should you post in your blog before submission to article directories? This is not essential, since the versions are different; yet, I’d recommend that you post first in your own blog.
Now, you’ll get your article appearing in SE rankings through your blog as well as through article directories. And you’ll get plenty of back links from the article directories as well.
This way, you maximize the value of your article.
